¹⁹ And Rabshakeh said unto them, Tell ye Hezekiah, I pray you, Thus saith the great king, even the great king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?

²⁰ Thou thinkest, Surely I have ^[a]eloquence, ^[b]but counsel and strength are for the war. On whom then doest thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?

²¹ Lo, thou trustest now in this broken staff of reed, to wit, on ^[c]Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
